I also support clients with sports mental health, struggling with body image, disordered eating, sleep hygiene, self-esteem, boundary issues, and relationship issues. My major focus as a therapist is being authentic and building a strong therapeutic relationship with all my clients. Hi! My name is Michael Gowland and I am a Registered Social Worker with over 17 years of experience. I provide both individual and couples counseling (in-person and virtually) to adults over the age of 22.

It is not easy to admit that you may need help and it takes courage to seek support. I believe that the path to healing begins in the presence of someone who cares and tries their best to understand your journey. I can offer you that support. Utilizing a strengths-based, compassionate counseling approach, I help people understand themselves at a deeper level so that they can overcome their struggles and get unstuck in life.

I completed my Masters Degree in Social Work from Carleton University. I then went on to provide mental health counseling service in the hospital system, community and private practice. I am experienced in working with a variety of counseling modalities including solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and psychodynamic therapy. I have used these modalities to help people suffering from many conditions and challenges some of which include: depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, addictions issues and relationship conflict.

Hi! My name is Kaitlin MacLean and I am a Registered Social Worker.

I recognize that sometimes, past experiences can leave us feeling stuck and unable to find enjoyment in life. Reaching out for support is not always easy and can leave us feeling vulnerable. It is my goal to work alongside you to build your self-esteem, self-compassion, process grief and loss, work through the negative effects of past trauma, or address whatever other therapeutic goals you may have while we work together.

My areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, addictions, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, trauma, and grief and loss. I use evidence-based practices while honouring a client-centred approach when working alongside clients on their journey to wellness. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Theory (CPT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Mindfulness. Therapy is not one-size fits all and I work with clients and their strengths to establish personal goals in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, and caring environment. I work with individuals 16+ to assist them in gaining the knowledge and skills to work through negative thoughts and emotions and instigate positive change in their lives that can be noticed both mentally and physically.

Hi! My name is Kelsey Voth and I am a Registered Social Worker. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology, and I have extensive experience working with children and youth, as well as folks with disabilities, chronic pain, experiences of trauma, and various mental health concerns. I provide individual counselling to teens and adults with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and goals for therapy. My approach to counselling is trauma-informed and relationally-centred, and I draw on modalities that foster compassion, empathy, embodiment and connection.

I believe that as humans, growth is our birthright. It guides our everyday choices and interactions and ultimately leads us to live in ways that feel peaceful, free, and aligned with our values. But it’s really hard to grow when we’re overwhelmed or in “survival mode.” If you’re tired of just going through the motions - feeling empty, numb, disconnected, or out of control - I would be honoured to partner with you on your journey back to yourself, whether that includes working through things that happened in the past or exploring the path forward.

My style is open, relaxed, relational, and trauma-informed. My goal is to hold space for your unique story and vision for your life, working with you to explore it with curiosity and compassion. Together we can explore what keeps you from hearing your own inner wisdom, from feeling connected and grounded, and from experiencing peace, freedom, and purpose.

Because whole-person wellness is impacted by a variety of physical, psychological, social, structural, and spiritual factors, I take a holistic approach to mental health that recognizes the uniqueness of each client and their journey. I draw on a wide variety of evidence-based approaches in my work, including attachment, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and narrative therapy. We can decide together what kind of approach feels best for you, based on your values, priorities, and strengths.
